From the minute visitors step into San Diego SeaWorld they are greeted by a unique adventure. There are a number of roller coasters and water rides for maximum excitement. Thrill seekers will especially enjoy Manta, Shipwreck Rapids, Journey to Atlantis, and Wild Arctic Ride. Kid’s rides include, Elmo’s Flying Fish, Oscar’s Rocking Eel, and Abby’s Sea Star Spin. In addition, the Skytower and Bayside Skyride offer wonderful views of the park and beyond.

Live entertainment that the whole family will appreciate can be found going on throughout the day with a large number of SeaWorld shows. The all-new Orca Encounter introduces killer whale presentations; the Sea Lions LIVE performance delivers some comedic relief; Pets Rule is a showcase of talented domestic animals; and One Ocean is the famous Shamu SeaWorld show that has stolen the hearts of millions. Cirque De La Mer incorporates music and special effects to present an acrobatic display of wonder.


Animal exhibits provide a close-up view of a variety of animals in different habitats. Hands-on opportunities can be found in the Explorer’s Reef, Dolphin Point, Aquaria Touch Pool, and Pacific Point. There is also the chance for some lucky guests to feed dolphins, sea lions, and seals. Get as close as you’ve ever been to sea turtles in the Turtle Reef, spend some time observing the penguin population, catch a glimpse of the Wild Arctic, and watch thousands of colorful fish and exotic sea creatures swim around in the various aquarium settings.
